Make It Easy To Talk To Your Clients, Customers And Prospects
As unsexy as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) sounds, it is one of those tough love conversations we need to have. Many people I work with either have no system, or about 5 different places for storing their client details.
Tip: Start using your CRM (or find one if you don’t have one), and use it systematically.
Why: A CRM is the central powerhouse for capturing, tracking and understanding your prospects, and leading them into becoming clients or customers. It makes it easy to talk to your customers at a moments notice with news, relevant tips & information and where relevant, upsells.How:
- Select a CRM
- Decide what information you would like to have about your customers
- Set up a process to ensure data is entered systematically (hint: if this is not your strong point, find someone in your business whose job it becomes)
- Segment your list in order to create targeted (and therefore more effective) communications.
